The attitude to monetary gifts is ambiguous. Many are of the opinion that gifts of this kind are cold and soulless. Indeed, the money present is unlikely to be called "lovingly chosen." However, if you wish, you can put your soul into it. For example, prepare an interesting and original way presentations.
If a donor made an original envelope for money with his own hands, having previously bought everything necessary for creativity, such a gift cannot be called a “soulless gift”. In addition to the usual postcards and envelopes, there are many other options. Consider 10 ways to present cash gifts.
Money as a gift: how to present? 10 ways
1. In a candy box
This is a surprise gift. The hero of the occasion receives, as he thinks, only a box of chocolates, but in fact the present contains amount of money, on which you can purchase several (or very many) of these boxes.
So, we take an empty candy box with a correction (plastic insert with recesses for candies). Part of the sweets, by the way, can be left. For a cash gift in a box, both banknotes and coins are suitable. The bills must be neatly folded and put together with the coins in the divisions for sweets.

The box can be wrapped in transparent film to make it look like new, but this is not necessary. If the box will be presented without a wrapper, it is worth tying it with a ribbon so that the lid does not open.

3. Money in a box with butterflies
This gift option will be relevant if the money is intended for newlyweds or the fair sex, especially the young. The present looks gentle and romantic.
So, you need a fairly deep box with a lid. You can buy it in a gift wrapping store or in the household department (cardboard box for storage). A tall box from under shoes, sweets, toys, etc. is also suitable. If the color and / or presence of the inscriptions does not suit you, the box can be pasted over with colored paper of a gentle shade. In addition to the box, you will need: thick thread, thin braid, adhesive tape and, optionally, other decorations.
Butterflies are made of paper money. One butterfly is made of two banknotes. Bills are fastened together with an elastic band or thin braid.

Banknotes are placed in a deep frame with glass. There are deep frames designed for photos, casts, quilling, etc. Such a product can be asked around in gift shops, decor, and handicraft products.
So, behind the glass are bills (1-3 pieces, usually not more). If the gift is intended for a friend, you can make a joke by supplementing the bills with something else: for example, a blister with aspirin tablets and a condom.
In order for the frame to turn into a mini-shield (like a fireman), it is necessary to supplement it with the inscription: “In an emergency, break the glass!” or "In case of emergency, break the glass and use the contents!".

How to weave a wreath of the first type is shown in detail in the video (it is English-speaking, but in order to understand the process, knowledge of the language is not required in principle).
For a wreath of the second type, a round frame will be required. It can be built from wire, twigs or cardboard. It can be a thin “ringlet”, a wide flat “wheel” or a lush “bagel”. The frame can be wrapped with tape or pasted over with a cloth. Banknotes must be folded in the form of tubes, butterflies, fans, or otherwise.

You can also place on it information about the manufacturer (donor name), place of manufacture, expiration date, method of use, etc. The more creative the better.
Often this "product" is called "dried herbs" or "cabbage." But you can always come up with some new name, for example:

10. In the form of a decorative mural postcard
If there is a creative vein and hands from where to grow, you can make a beautiful gift panel. For example, in the form of a volume application using colored paper and banknotes.
You need a base, preferably with a frame. On the panel, you can depict, for example, a balloon with gifts, hearts, candles, a dress with a shirt, fish, butterflies, etc. Some of the details are made of colored paper and other creative materials, and some are made of banknotes. Of course, you shouldn’t stick money to the base - it’s better to fix it with paper clips, buttons or safety pins.
Dollar bill origami butterfly
We offer to try yourself in manigami and today you will see how to fold a butterfly from a banknote. A fragile butterfly from a banknote with the thinnest wings will remind you that money can be just an excellent paper for the realization of fantasies in line with origami.
Fold diagonally the upper part of the bill folded in half (photo 1). Flex (photo 2). Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the other side (photo 3). Fold the bottom strip of paper (photo 4).
Expand the bill (photo 5). Bend the two opposite folds. The rectangle will become shorter (photo 6). Fold the sheet in half across (photo 7). Fold the bill along (photo 8).
Fold the left corner (photo 9). Lift the top layer of paper (photo 10). Flatten the pocket on the right (photo 11). Turn the workpiece over (photo 12).
By repeating steps 9-11 on the other hand, you will get a blank in the shape of an arrow. Bend the right corner to the left, outlining a horizontal fold line (photo 13). Flex (photo 14). Bend the upper left side diagonally, the top of which is visible in the diagram (photo 15). Fold the vertical strip (photo 16).
Flatten your pocket (photo 17). Repeat steps 14-16 on the other side. An origami dollar butterfly will unfold its wings (photo 18).
Form a fold separating the upper wings from the lower ones (photo 19). Bend the middle corners of the wings (photo 20). Check the result (photo 21). Form the torso. Fold the figure in half (photo 22). Bend the corner of the back (photo 23). Fold the middle strip of paper, flattening the corner to the left. Perform all manipulations symmetrically, that is, do not forget about the second part of the butterfly (photo 24).
What to present for a holiday?
You can, of course, buy some interesting souvenir, dishes or any necessary trifle. But some people like to receive money as a gift. It is convenient both for you and for the person to whom you are going for a holiday - you will not rack your brains over the gift for a long time, being afraid of making a wrong choice. How can I make such a gift? Very often people buy special envelopes for money or simply put banknotes in a postcard. But there is another interesting and unusual way of making money as a gift - it is moneygami, which means origami from money. Such a gift can surprise and leave a pleasant impression. There are simple schemes with which everyone can easily make origami out of money. In this case, you do not need glue, scissors and more. Only banknotes, patience, perseverance and desire. In addition, using this technique, you can not only beautifully arrange a cash gift, but also make a talisman that will attract wealth to you.
Origami from money: shirt
One of the simplest schemes is a shirt. Select a banknote. Lay it on the table vertically. From the bottom, bend up a third of the banknote. Now flip it down with the bent side. Fold the bill vertically in half and straighten it back. Next, bend to the middle of each half. Bend the edges on each half. Now you need to turn the bill curved bottom edges away from you and bend down a small strip on the top. The next step to create origami from money is to turn the banknote to itself with curved lower edges. Bend the top edges with the corners in the middle. So it turns out the collar of the shirt. One simple step remains. Fold up the bottom of the banknote with curved edges. Do this so that the bottom edge fits under the collar valves. That's all! The shirt from the bill is ready!
Origami from money: butterflyA butterfly from a banknote looks very impressive. Make it a little harder, but still everyone can do it. For our purposes, we will need two bills. Take a banknote, fold it in half in length. Put it back. We got a long line along the bill. Now you need to bend the ends to the center of the banknote to this line. Unfold the bill again and begin to bend the corners inward. It is necessary to bend all four corners. After that, turn the bill over with the curved corners down and from the very edge to the end, begin to bend the bill along the length into an accordion. After that, take the second bill. Do the same with it as with the first, only at the very beginning, bend the edges by about 0.5 cm, so that the banknote becomes a little shorter. The result should be two harmonica of different lengths. Now it remains to connect them together using a decorative wire. Attach accordion notes to each other so that the short one is at the bottom and the long one is at the top. Tie them, lift the ends of the wire up and twist them - these will be the antennae of our butterfly. Gently spread the wings. That's all! Origami from money in the form of a butterfly is ready!
