So what is a military mortgage?
The accumulative mortgage system provides for two components:

The funded part is made up of annual payments, which are transferred once a year to the personal savings account of a serviceman. Representatives of this second, voluntary category, in order to participate in the NIS program, must submit an application, fill out a questionnaire, attach the necessary documents, and receive a decision on inclusion in the NIS program.
Savings accounts are opened for the military participating in the NIS, to which funds are subsequently transferred to purchase housing.
An important innovation of 2016: now military spouses can pool the funds of their savings accounts and spend them on the purchase of an apartment or house, which will be jointly owned by the spouses.
Requirements for the property
If the requirements for participants in the NIS program are determined by the state, then the requirements for objects credited under the military mortgage program are mainly determined by the bank issuing the loan.
