This scheme is a simplified procedure for legal proceedings, for which the presence of the taxpayer-debtor is not required. After that, the court order will be transferred to the federal bailiff service.
On the FSSP website, you can find information about the so-called enforcement proceedings, which are cases for the collection of tax debts by force. This procedure is carried out by bailiffs. Data on enforcement proceedings contain the place of residence of the debtor, full name, judicial act (grounds for debt collection) and the amount of the debt.
How to check transport tax debt, real estate tax debt?

After some time (most often it is several days), when information about the object of taxation appears in the inspection, in the "Personal Account" of the taxpayer in relation to this object (movable or real estate) you can find debt individual by TIN number. The amount of tax can be checked when the deadline for calculating the tax on this object comes.
If you need to find out property, transport taxes or the amount of real estate tax debt, then just click on the relevant object - real estate, car, land.
To quickly check information about the car tax (transport tax) on the public services portal, you can use the "add vehicle". To do this, enter the name, series and number of the vehicle registration certificate and the state number of the vehicle in the appropriate fields.

As a rule, citizens of our country, if they have unpaid taxes, receive a notification from the Federal Tax Service (FTS). However, such letters do not always reach the addressee, and non-payment of taxes, even in case of non-receipt of notification, can lead to criminal liability.
Therefore, in order to once again play it safe and avoid possible negative consequences, individuals can check their tax debts on their own.

You can find out information on tax arrears in the district tax office at the place of residence. To avoid confusion, the resource menu has 3 tabs. The first one is for an individual, the second one is for individual entrepreneur, and the third - for legal entities.
The reason for this distinction is that the requirements of the tax inspectorate in relation to ordinary citizens (individuals) differ from those that apply to persons engaged in commercial activities.
How to check the debt and who should do it?
To find out the tax debt on the website of the Federal Tax Service, you must:
- register on the resource;
- go to your personal account;
- enter your personal data in the input windows to search for debt (the system searches by TIN and full name);
- click on the "Find" option;

Each citizen must check the tax debt independently and regularly. Since situations often arise in which a person does not even know that he must pay tax.
For example, such disputes often arise transport tax in cases where the owner of the vehicle issues general power of attorney to another face. In such a situation, the tax is paid by the one who owns the car, and not by the one who constantly uses it. And often the owners of cars do not know about it or forget.
What are the main types of taxes?
Transport tax
This tax is calculated based on the engine power of the vehicle and the established tax coefficient. It is levied on those mobile mechanisms whose engine capacity exceeds 50 cubic centimeters.
Property tax
The tax is levied on any type of housing, as well as the owner's share in it, regardless of its use. Most often, debt property tax arises for those persons who do not inform the tax authorities about the acquisition or sale of property in a timely manner.
Therefore, after any real estate transactions, it is better to check debts within a month to be sure that there are no debts.
Land tax
Land tax is charged to the owner land plot regardless of who uses it: the owner or not. For this tax, the debt may arise due to the increase tax rate in one region or another.
Also, taxpayers should check the list of persons falling under the category tax deductions. This will significantly reduce tax costs.
Personal Income Tax
income tax on wages paid by the employer. From all other sources of income (winnings, income from intellectual activity and other types), individuals must pay tax on their own.
It should be borne in mind that income from part-time jobs is also taxed if their amount exceeds 4,000 rubles.
What to do if there is a tax arrears?
Tax arrears can arise for two reasons:
- through the fault of an individual;
- due to the fault of the tax service (program failure, human factor, etc.).
Late payment of tax by an individual
If the debt arose through the fault of an individual, then first of all you need to pay it. This can be done both via the Internet and through a bank, or directly to the Federal Tax Service.
It is necessary to take into account the fact that late payment of taxes entails Negative consequences up to criminal liability. In addition, in addition to the principal amount of the debt, interest and penalties may be charged, which significantly increase the amount of debt.
Miscalculation of debt
It happens that the debt is accrued and by mistake. That is why, when checking and detecting debts of the Federal Tax Service, citizens need to carefully look for what the tax was not paid for.
A striking example in this case is a very common situation when the owner sells a car and manages to deregister it from the traffic police within a month, but the tax for the car still continues to accrue.
In such cases, it is better for an individual to go to the tax office and, together with the inspector, check all accruals for the last taxable period. If there really was some kind of error, then the Federal Tax Service will immediately eliminate it.
Usually, ordinary people pay:
- Tax on personal income (themselves, when it comes to renting an apartment, tutoring at home, winning the lottery or an expensive gift).
- Property tax (apartment, house, garage, outbuildings etc).
- Land tax.
- Transport tax (levied on owners of cars, motorcycles, scooters, yachts, snowmobiles, motor boats and other registered vehicles).
It is easy to get confused in all this. But if you didn’t receive a notification due to the fault of the mail or received it, but kept postponing the payment, and then completely forgot about the Federal Tax Service, these are your problems. The task of the taxpayer is to independently learn about taxes and pay them on time.
Failure to do so is fraught with consequences. Here's what's in store for you:
- Recovery of arrears through the court. If the debt is more than 3,000 rubles, the tax authorities have the right to go to court. The punishment can be quite severe. In the best case, you will get off with a fine of 20 to 40% of the unpaid amount. But there are also criminal penalties. For tax evasion, you can lose up to 500,000 rubles or be imprisoned for up to three years.
- Collection of property taxes. If taxes, penalties, fines remain unpaid after the court decision, the tax authority can re-apply to the court and pay off the debt at the expense of the debtor's property, including money in the bank.
- Impossibility to travel abroad. If your debt exceeds 10,000 rubles, there is a chance that you will not be allowed to leave Russia. By the way, the same thing will happen if you do not pay or utilities.

How to do it? On special resources, some of which work in the mode of free information, while others will require access from the tax office.

The inspector will also need to give his full name and full date of birth, write a corresponding application. After that, the citizen will receive a personal login-password pair, which will allow him to enter the official tax resource every time without problems.
How to find out tax debt
Despite the promises of all kinds of sites, it’s better not to look for anything for queries like “view TIN debt”. Information posted on dubious resources is far from reliable. Moreover, taxpayers there will probably be required to enter personal data, and this is very unsafe.
The right solution for viewing personal tax debt is the official portal of the Federal Tax Service, which can be accessed by any citizen upon personal request (you will have to write an application) at the local tax department.
How to find out tax debt by TIN on the website of the Federal Tax Service
Personal account of the taxpayer on the resource of the Federal Tax Service - this is the place where, having logged in, you can always get information about your own tax liabilities in full.
You need to get access to your personal account (letting in a login-password pair) at the IFTS at the place of residence by submitting an application and a package of documents. After applying, the taxpayer is issued personal card and rules for using the account on the site. The password will be temporary (it is valid for only a month and during registration it is better to immediately change it to your own, which will be fixed as a permanent one), and the citizen's TIN will become the login. Thus, it will not be difficult to find out personal tax debt by TIN.
What about those who are still not aware of their own individual room taxpayer (TIN) or lost the corresponding certificate? To help such citizens, we can recommend the official portal of the State Services, where in a special section you can easily find out everything and even order a duplicate of the lost document.
You only need to register (this can be done via the Internet without contacting anywhere) on the resource and carefully enter the requested data / information in a special form.

It does not even require the introduction of the TIN of the taxpayer, just the full name, date of birth (to weed out namesakes with the same IO) and the region of residence.
This registry is especially important to check (from time to time) for people who often travel abroad for business or pleasure. Since getting into the list of debtors of the SSP for sure means a ban on the debtor’s departure / departure from Russian Federation. And if you let such things take their course, you can be informed too late (for example, at the airport, just before the flight). And that means losing rest, disrupting negotiations or signing important agreements, losing money, and facing other troubles.

Since any payment for taxes and fees that has not yet come due will be considered an “overpayment”. And when the time comes, the payment made in advance will automatically go to the “Paid” section.
The same data is displayed on the State Services website.
Check overdue tax debt by TIN
If payment for tax charges did not arrive, information about the debts will remain in the corresponding section of the debt. Both on the website of the Federal Tax Service and on the State Services portal exactly until the payment is credited to the budget.
It should also be borne in mind that information is not published immediately. And while the money is credited, and the debt is removed, it can take from a week to four.
Tax debt of individuals by TIN on the FSSP website
How does the tax inspectorate collect debts from non-payers? Through the courts, of course. By obtaining the appropriate Court Order. And for the adoption of such a decision by the courts, the presence and explanations of the debtor are not required at all. However, he retains the right to cancel such an order (if he considers taxes paid after or wrongfully assessed), and then litigation (at the initiative of the plaintiff, that is tax authority) will be conducted in the manner prescribed by law.
If the judgment issued has not been set aside in fixed time, it is lowered bailiffs for execution. There is an appropriate enforcement proceedings(if the debtor has not fulfilled the obligation voluntarily) enforcement, and the debtor's data and the amount of his debt are entered in the register on the FSSP website.
